Peter and I embarked on an epic adventure through Samaná, Dominican Republic, and this trip was packed with once-in-a-lifetime experiences! We stayed at the Dominican Tree House Village, a unique eco-lodge nestled deep in the jungle, and explored multiple sister properties—each offering its own incredible atmosphere (linked below). Hidden Pools & Private Beaches 🏊‍♂️ – Along the way, we stumbled upon natural swimming holes and quiet beaches, where we could relax and take in the beauty of the DR. 2. 4x4 ATV Adventure 🚙 – We hit the dirt roads and rode 4-wheelers through the jungle, splashing through towns and discovering trails to beaches. 3. Playa Rincón 🏝 – Consistently ranked as one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic, the white sand and crystal-clear waters made for the perfect tropical escape. 4. Horseback Riding 🐎 – We rode through scenic trails that led us to stunning viewpoints and secluded spots you can’t reach by car. 5. Los Haitises National Park 🚤 – We took a boat tour through lush mangroves, towering limestone formations, and mystical caves covered in ancient Taino petroglyphs. This place felt like something out of a movie! 6. Jungle Zipline 🌿 – Staying at the Dominican Tree House Village meant we had direct access to their incredible zipline, soaring high above the treetops with breathtaking views of the lush surroundings. How We Got Around (Without a Rental Car!): 🚗 One major challenge we faced was not having a rental car. Samaná is a remote region with limited transportation options, which made getting from place to place a bit tricky.
